Silicone Compounds

CHEMPLEX^® Silicone Compounds are designed for use in a variety of performance applications. They are formulated with specially selected silicone base fluids and premium inorganic thickeners. CHEMPLEX^® Silicone Compounds are resistant to oxidation, thermal degradation and a broad range of chemicals and maintain these properties over a wide temperature range.

Available in several consistencies to meet specific requirements, they find application in valve seats, O-rings, flow meters, plug valves and vacuum and pressure systems. These compounds are used to lubricate and insulate electrical connectors and ignition components and as assembly lubricants for rubber and plastic parts. The CHEMPLEX^® Silicone Compounds are designed for a variety of applications where dielectric strength, water repellence and corrosive protection are important.

CHEMPLEX^® 710 is a dielectric silicone lubricant with a low base oil viscosity and soft penetration, acting as an excellent moisture barrier. It boasts a broad operating temperature and is very compatible with elastomers and plastics. This material can be used where a lubricant is required in chemical, moisture or high temperature environments. Recommended for O-rings, plastic tears and valve assemblies.

CHEMPLEX^® 811 is a stiff, tacky compound with excellent dielectric properties, oxidation resistance and water repellence. It is essentially nontoxic and non-melting, retains its pliability, even after extended service use. CHEMPLEX^® 811 is resistant to a variety of chemicals and is compatible with more plastics and rubbers. It is extremely resistant to water and chemical washout and remains in place in even the most harsh environments.

CHEMPLEX^® 825 is a silicone compound with exceptionally high dielectric strength and moisture resistance, making it ideal for electrical and electronic applications. CHEMPLEX^® 825 is used by the electrical power industry for separable elbow transfer connectors, electrical termination and splices and high voltage insulator coatings. In the automotive industry, CHEMPLEX^® 825 is used on wire sets, brake calipers and terminals.

CHEMPLEX^® 839 is a specially designed silicone compound containing a high percentage of PTFE. CHEMPLEX^® 839 retains excellent dielectric, washout resistance and broad temperature range, but has the additional quality of being an outstanding overall lubricant. It can be used to lubricate plastic, rubber and sliding metal parts. Available in both NLGI #1 and #2 consistencies.

CHEMPLEX^® 862 is a specially formulated grease-like product containing selected silicone oils and inert silica fillers. It is certified to NSF-61 standards and is designed for use in potable water systems where NSF certification is required. This stiff, tacky compound has excellent dielectric properties, oxidation resistance and water repellence. It is essentially non-toxic, non-melting and retains its pliability, even after extended service use. Resistant to a variety of chemicals and is compatible with most plastics and rubbers. Extremely water-resistant and withstands water washout and spray-off.
