Description
LUBRODAL AL 50 is a stable emulsion which can be sprayed on to lubricate moulds in pressure die casting of aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. LUBRODAL AL 50 contains special additives which provide a high degree of lubricating and parting efficiency. It is easy to spread in a thin layer over the die. LUBRODAL AL 50 does not form any protruding substances or residues in or next to the moulds. The vents are not clogged. The casting surfaces are clean and light and can be surface-treated after careful cleaning of residues.
Application
LUBRODAL AL 50 is supplied in concentrate form and must be diluted with water prior to using. The mixture ratio depends on the specific casting and spraying parameters and especially on die temperature and complexity of the casting. The recommended ratio is 1:40 to 1:80. The optimal rate of dilution has to be determined in practice.
Application
LUBRODAL AL 50 can be applied by using hand spray guns, static and automatic spraying equipment. To achieve an effective, even coverage, use a spray with an adjustable nozzle and adjust the air-liquid ratio. We recommend the spraying equipment to be cleaned at regular intervals (once a week) by flushing through with water. The equipment should be cleaned in this way if it is going to stand idle for any period of time.
