RENISO closer to installers and maintainers at the HVAC and Refrigeration trade fair, offering tailor-made solutions

For the third consecutive year, FUCHS participated in the HVAC and Refrigeration fair held in Madrid from 26 February to 1 March.

The event brought together professionals in the fields of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and industrial and commercial refrigeration.

Refrigeration oils play an important role in the area of lubricants and lubrication technology. The expected long service life of refrigeration compressors depends largely on the quality of the refrigeration oil used.

The professionals who visited our stand were able to learn first-hand about our brand RENISO, a complete range of high-performance refrigeration oils for virtually every type of refrigeration and application. Out of them all, the most notable were the Series:

• RENISO C: based on special thermally-stable synthetic ester oils. Excellent miscibility behaviour with CO₂.
• RENISO UltraCool 68: designed for ammonia refrigeration systems operating at evaporating temperatures down to < -45 °C.
• RENISO SYNTH: synthetic refrigeration oil based on polyalphaolefins (PAO) for ammonia (NH₃), hydrocarbons and CO₂ (not miscible with subcritical CO₂ )
• RENISO TRITON: based on chemically and thermally highly-stable polyolesters (POEs). These oils are suitable for applications with HFC/FC refrigerants.

The importance of maintenance of in-use refrigeration lubricants

The poor condition of in-service refrigeration lubricants is a major cause of loss of efficiency in refrigeration equipment. They can cause leaks, increase filter change and drive up energy costs.

With the large number of installers and maintainers specialising in the food and beverage sector who visit the fair in mind, the new products in the CASSIDA range (food-grade lubricants), the NSF certified RIVOLTA products for industrial cleaning and the pure antifreeze heat-transfer fluids with food-grade propylene glycol in the THERMISOL SUN Series were presented.
