Dear Reader,

within this week, on April 1st, we are introducing the new interface of our integrated FUCHS Oil Chooser. Until now, the user interface of the oil chooser was developed directly by the tool provider, resulting in limited usability and few options for customization (as you can see here: https://fuchs-eu.lubricantadvisor.com/). Therefore, we have set ourselves the goal of optimizing the current version of the FUCHS Oil Chooser and seamlessly integrating it into all FUCHS websites.

General Information

We integrated the search options of the oil chooser into the FUCHS website, significantly improving usability in many areas. Our particular focus was on making the interface:

• more intuitive,
• optimizing the mobile view, and
• improving the presentation of search results.

Furthermore, we managed to successfully build a solution to display all recommended products for the chosen vehicle in one view. This is a big progress in placing our products more visibly and greatly improves the usability of the Oil Chooser. Next to that, now you can expand and collapse all components, choose individual components (also for the printed view) and choose a certain Usage type within every component (see here https://www.fuchs.com/cz/en/oil-chooser/).

As mentioned above, the new FUCHS Oil Chooser was rolled out throughout this Wednesday, April 1.  This will not cause any functional impacts. You will simply encounter a new, improved user interface when you access the oil chooser via our local FUCHS website.

Important to Know

The previous FUCHS Oil Chooser will remain accessible via the existing external URL:

https://fuchs-eu.lubricantadvisor.com/

This ensures the functionality of existing bookmarks for the previous address in the browser to not end up on an error page.
