Description
THERMISOL QH 35 MC is a high performance quenchant, based on high quality hydro cracked oils with a low level of evaporation and aromats.
THERMISOL QH 35 MC has a very short vapour phase. This cooling characteristic causes very uniform heat transfer with a minimum of hardening distortions.
Application
THERMISOL QH 35 MC is a high-performance quenching oil for a broad range of applications.
Due to its high flashpoint and very low evaporation, THERMISOL QH 35 MC can be used in open and closed quenching tanks. It is well suited for use in multipurpose furnaces, gas carbonization lines and vertical retort facilities. THERMISOL QH 35 MC is recom mended for use in continuous and batch hardening processes.
THERMISOL QH 35 MC is normally used at temperatures between 40 °C and 80 °C. For higher temperatures up to 150 °C maximum closed tanks with inert gas are recommended.
THERMISOL QH 35 MC is suitable for the hardening of alloyed and unalloyed case-hardened steels, quenched and tempered steels and tool steels. It can also be used with forged components, thin-walled mass-produced parts made of free-cutting steel, large-scale warp-prone components, gearbox parts and for a whole range of other applications.
