  • improves the surface of the workpieces
  • excellent lubricating and releasing properties
  • good cooling effect
  • cost-effective to use

Description

LUBRODAL F 20 CH is a sprayable die lubricant for the hot forming of steel. The great percentage of smallest graphites (0.1 - 1 µm) guarantees excellent wettability as well as a good stability and a simple dilution. The coarser particles provide maximum temperature resistance.

Field of application

LUBRODAL F 20 CH is an efficient lubricant for hot forming processes of steel.

Method of application

LUBRODAL F 20 CH is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before application. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems or by spray pistols.
A strong spray jet with adjustable nozzles as well as an adjustable air-fluid ratio are required.
The mixture is to be stirred continuously in order to avoid settling out of graphite.

Note

Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL F 20 CH with water:
Hot extrusion : 1 : 4 - 8
Complicated pieces : 1 : 5 - 10
Standard operations : 1 : 10 - 20
Simple parts : 1 : 20 - 30
The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in practice.
