ECO-HYD S oils are based on synthetic ester. They represent an environmentally harmless alternative to hydraulic oils based on mineral oil.
Field of application
With regard to the particular maintenance instructions ECO-HYD S oils can be used in all hydraulic devices within the temperature range from -30 °C to +90 °C in the container.
Method of application
As ECO-HYD S-oils are generally miscible with mineral oils. It should, however, be remembered that small residual quantities of mineral oil or corrosion preventives may impair the technical properties and entail a higher water hazard class. When changing the oil filling the hydraulics should be completely emptied and thoroughly rinsed. We recommend observing the changing guidelines of VDMA 24 569 and our respective Technical Information.
A compatibility with varnishes and seals cannot be generally guaranteed. We therefore recommend a prior check or using two-component varnishes.
ECO-HYD S oils, which are based on a synthetic ester (HEES), surpass the specifications laid down in ISO 15380 and the minimum requirements according to the VDMA guidelines 24 568.
