Description
HYKOGEEN 820 is a soft paste on a mineral oil base with white solid lubricants. These are effective over a very large temperature range and support the forming process in all phases. This results in a positive influence on the forging dies, the workpiece and profitability. HYKOGEEN 820 does not contain any graphite.It is not miscible with water, but it can be thinned with the liquid HYKOGEEN 821 according to requirements.

HYKOGEEN 820 can be used for:
- drop forging
- hot extrusion
- hot-rolling
- hot-bending
Further applications:
- lubricating of:
• column guides of the presses
• squeeze markers
• ejector pin
- anti-soldering paste.
Method of application
Apply HYKOGEEN 820 to the dies or tools using a brush or wide brush. If a thinner coating is required, mix with HYKOGEEN 821.
