RENOLIN PA-SERIES
High-performance gear and paper machine oils
For the lubrication of bearings and gears in industrial applications mainly circulating oils type CLP are used. In addition to high aging resistance and good corrosion protection these oils have a high wear protection. But in some special cases the performance of standard CLP gear oils is not sufficient: especially at high temperatures and under extreme working conditions; for example, in the bearings in the dryer section of paper machines specially developed paper machine oils are needed.
Description
RENOLIN PA was developed on basis of selected base oils in combination with the latest additive technology. Zinc-containing EP additives are used which guarantee a reliable wear protection. Moreover, the oils of the RENOLIN PA series provide a very good corrosion protection – also in the presence of water. This was inter alia proved in the SKF Emcor test with synthetic process waters. Furthermore, RENOLIN PA shows a very low deposit tendency also at high temperatures.
The oils of the RENOLIN PA series fulfill and surpass the requirements for gear oils CLP according to DIN 51517-3 as well as the requirements for paper machine oils according to Voith specification VN 108. Additionally, the products of the RENOLIN PA series were improved regarding their stability and compatibility with process waters as used in the wire and press sections in the paper machine.
