ANTICORIT PL 39 SX
Hotmelt for steel and aluminum mills
Description
ANTICORIT PL 39 SX is a semi-dry corrosion protection lubricant with excellent drawing properties. Typically, ANTICORIT PL 39 SX is applied by aluminium and steel mills but can also be used with suitable equipment directly before the press.
ANTICORIT PL 39 SX is the consequent enhancement of the prelube ANTICORIT PL 3802 39 S which has been established in steel and automotive industries for many years. Thus ANTICORIT PL 39 SX is compatible with all common downstream processes in automobile industry. ANTICORIT PL 39 SX is compatible with common Spot Lubricants, Prelubes and Washing Oils of the RENOFORM and ANTICORIT series.
Application
ANTICORIT PL 39 SX is applied by using conventional or preferably electrostatic spraying systems. It is also applied by roll cladding, typically with nonwoven rolls. The recommended application temperature for spraying and filtration ranges between 65 and 80 °C.
Advantages
- meets all requirements according to VDA 230- 213
- offers excellent metal forming properties, even in difficult drawing operations
- stands out due to optimal corrosion protection properties, even under extreme environmental conditions
- forms a semi-dry film that does not run off
- is compatible with conventional types of adhesives used in automotive industries
- can be removed using mild alkaline or neutral cleaning agents, even after ageing
- has a high KTL compatibility, even when in contact with paints of low solvent or pigment content
- is suitable for use on processed sheet metal (Z, ZE, ZNE, ZF with and without phosphating) as well as normal steel and aluminium
- excellently compatible with spot lubricants, such as RENOFORM MCO 3802-SN, RENOFORM MCO 3028, Prelube PL 3802-39 S and ANTICORIT washing oils
