Description
TITAN SUPERGEAR LS SAE 80W-140 is an Ultra High Performance gear oil in the viscosity class SAE 80W-140 for use in commercial vehicle axles with or without Limited Slip differentials. TITAN SUPERGEAR LS SAE 80W-140 meets the minimum requirement with regard to a phosphorus content of 1,900 ppm.
Application
TITAN SUPERGEAR LS SAE 80W-140 fulfils the wear protection requirements of API GL-5; it is suitable for use in even the most highly loaded hypoid gear axles. Through LS additives (Limited Slip) in the additive formulation it is also especially suited for use in gearboxes with a Limited Slip differential. TITAN SUPERGEAR LS SAE 80W-140 ensures under all operating conditions an unobjectionable function of the Limited Slip differential throughout the service lifetime of the component.
TITAN SUPERGEAR LS SAE 80W-140 is miscible and compatible with conventional, branded gear oils. However, mixing with other gear oils should be avoided in order to fully exhaust this product’s benefits. A complete oil drain is recommended before converting to TITAN SUPERGEAR LS SAE 80W-140.
