Description
PBC 1574 is a golden paste with metallic solids. PBC 1574 is based on a an inorganic thickener with metallic solids. According to its formulation it is free of silicone, MoS2, graphite or lead. Based on its universal applicability PBC 1574 can replace a large number number of assembly pastes.
Field of application
PBC 1574 is used for the prevention of seizures on screw threads, linkages, pivots, flanges and mating surfaces subject to high temperatures, fretting corrosion, salt water and aggressive environmental media. The product is used to lubricate brake callipers and prevent corrosion of disc brakes. PBC 1574 is not electrically conductive and does not affect the sensors of ABS systems.
Method of application
The surface should be properly cleaned before the application of PBC 1574. The product can be applied like any other grease, using a brush, a spatula, a grease gun or an automatic central lubrication system. PBC 1574 is also available as spray.
