FUCHS PETROLUB SE, the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer, has been honored by DMG MORI, a leading global producer of machine tools, with the DMG MORI Partner Award 2021 for outstanding performance and innovation.

FUCHS CEO Stefan Fuchs and Stefan Knapp, Chairman of the Executive Board of FUCHS SCHMIERSTOFFE GmbH, personally accepted the award from Dr. Eng. Masahiko Mori, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Christian Thönes, Chairman of the Executive Board of DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, during the DMG MORI Partner Summit held on September 21, 2021, in Pfronten.

“Our shared goal has always been to set new standards for lubricants used in machine tools through innovative product development. Ultimately, this effort benefits all of us — DMG MORI as a machine tool manufacturer, FUCHS as a lubricant producer, and most importantly, our customers. We are therefore very pleased with this special recognition of our strong partnership,” said Stefan Fuchs during the award ceremony.

Since 2019, FUCHS has been the official lubricant partner in the DMG MORI Qualified Products (DMQP) partnership program and has now received the award in this category. Through DMQP, DMG MORI offers its customers perfectly matched machine peripherals and innovative technological accessories from a single source. As a certified DMQP partner, FUCHS provides lubricants precisely tailored to DMG MORI machines and processes.

The technological partnership between the two companies began several years ago with joint projects in China and has gradually expanded to other markets. Together, FUCHS and DMG MORI are developing new solutions and services for machine tool applications aimed at advancing digitalization of manufacturing processes and monitoring of machine and system conditions.
