Position: Lubrication Technician, Delphi Stonehouse
- Duties include handling and distribution of lubricants,
- Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant and reporting
- day to day involvement in the lubrication programme of plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule to develop an overall understanding of all activities provided to the customer.
- Machine cleanouts.
- Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
Hours of Work
39 hours per week to be worked in accordance with the needs of the business with one half hour unpaid lunch break. Hours of work will be initially 06.00 hours to 14.30 hours, Monday to Thursday and 06.00 hours to 13.30 hours Friday. However, the Company reserves the right to vary actual working times and shift patterns should the need arise. It may be necessary to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business and you may be requested to visit other Customer Sites to support existing or new business requirements.
Must be a highly motivated ‘hands on’ adaptable person with high personal standards capable and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willing to work in close co-operation with our customers operators and management.
Ideally an experienced lubrication technician with mechanical maintenance experience. Knowledge of lubricants and metal working fluids would be an advantage.
An understanding and experience of working in a manufacturing / production environment. Working on own initiative this is a ‘hands on’ operations role carrying out fluid management duties within manufacturing. Good communications skills and PC skills are essential.
