Job Outline

  • To develop and manage the company’s strategy, and profitability, of CBM services
  • Support and develop lubricant sales and additional profit streams through the establishment and development of an integrated machinery condition monitoring program that already includes oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, energy optimisation and other associated activities
  • Support customers in creating an effective machinery TPM program, incorporating lubricant selection, re-lubrication frequencies, lubrication fundamentals such as storage, application, training and routine RCM activities to deliver efficiencies and continuous improvement for our customers
  • Co-ordinate in house, or contractor, labour provision to support customer projects and deliver RCM activities
  • Ensure all data is captured and reported efficiently to customers enabling them to make informed decisions
  • Engage, coach and support Fuchs sales teams in both industrial and automotive markets on delivering and the value of CBM services to our customers
  • Troubleshooting of CM results ensuing any potential threats to clients reliability program is identified and reported

Minimum requirement skills and qualifications 

  • Working knowledge of TPM practices and theory
  • Relevant qualifications in the area of CBM activities including lubricant analysis based machinery condition monitoring and vibration analysis such as ICML MLA or MLT qualification
  • Ideally degree qualified engineer, but minimum HND Mechanical Engineer
  • Commercial experience of selling and marketing of asset reliability and condition monitoring essential
  • Experience in lubricant / application engineering combined with marketing or sales in lubricants industry an advantage

This is a nationwide role, ideally candidates should be living within a 1-hour commute to Stoke-on-Trent
