We would like to inform you about the actualization of our engine oil portfolio:

Discontinuation TITAN GT1 PRO C-4 SAE 5W-30

TITAN GT1 PRO C-4 SAE 5W-30 will be removed from our product portfolio. The manufacturing of this product
will not be continued because it cannot meet the latest demands of ACEA 2016. Therefore, the product will be
replaced by a new one:

TITAN GT1 FLEX 34 SAE 5W-30 has the following performance profile:

The changes in comparison to TITAN GT1 PRO C-4 SAE 5W-30 are in bold.

TITAN GT1 FLEX 34 SAE 5W-30 is the first product of our portfolio which is conform to the combination of ACEA C3 and ACEA C4. The difficulty of this combination bases on the low SAPS-content of the ACEA C4 by 0.5% and the increased demands to the evaporation loss conform to ACEA C4 by ≤11%.

Resulting to the approval of the product by MB 229.51, the scope of application is further extended. Beside the Renault engines with exhaust aftertreatment pursuant to RN0720 and the integrated Versions in accordance with 226.51, the product can now be used in a wide range of Mercedes applications with exhaust aftertreatment following MB 229.51.
