TURMOTEMP LP 2502 New
Description
TURMOTEMP LP 2502 is a special grease for the lubrication of highly loaded rolling bearings.
TURMOTEMP LP 2502 is an unique lubricant based on perfluorinated oils (PFPE) and metals soaps. Due to this we were able to combine the positive properties of the chemically and thermally very stable perfluorinated base oils with the excellent properties of the metal soaps.
This means under thermal and mechanical load the lubricant flows back to the contact surfaces and reduces wear to a minimum.
The preferred service temperature of TURMOTEMP LP 2502 range is > 120°C to +250°C.

Application
Preferred application areas include long-term lubricated spherical roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and taper roller bearings at high temperatures. Bearings in corrugating rollers, chain return wheels and return roller bearings subject to high temperatures, load rollers in film stretching machines and textile stenters as well as low speed electric motors.
Before applying TURMOTEMP LP 2502 all lubricating points should be cleaned carefully. Optimum lubricating properties will be only achieved on clean and dry material surfaces.
Special cleaning agents which must be used for PFPE-lubricants thickened with PTFE, are not required.
