FUCHS LUBRICANTES has launched FRICOFIN AV

FUCHS LUBRICANTES has officially announced the launch of FRICOFIN AV, a new multifunctional coolant developed on the basis of advanced P-OAT technology. The product has been developed to meet - and even exceed - the latest performance and environmental standards in the automotive industry.
FRICOFIN AV is free of silicates, borates, 2-EHA, nitrites and amines and is applicable in light and heavy vehicles. Its formulation offers superior protection against corrosion, cavitation and deposits, with an emphasis on protecting aluminum components - an important differentiator for modern cooling systems.
In addition, the new product has excellent resistance to freezing and boiling and is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including Asian models and hybrid or electric vehicles (as long as there are no specific requirements regarding electrical conductivity).
FRICOFIN AV has MB 325.7 approval and complies with several other international specifications. The product has a dark blue color, will be marketed in various packages and a ready-to-use version (FRICOFIN AV 50) is due to be launched shortly.
