RENOLIN ANTI STICK SLIP
Universal anti-stick-slip additive
Description
In hydraulic systems and components with low sliding velocities and high pressures, often stick-slip phenomena occur. Therefore hydraulic cylinders cannot be positioned exactly. RENOLIN Anti-StickSlip provides a stable and adhesive lubricating film even in micro-feed situations, and when pressures are high. This good lubricating film eliminates chattering – instable lubricating films – under mixed-friction conditions, which prevents the cylinder packages, elastomers and sealing materials from being destroyed. RENOLIN Anti-Stick-Slip contains a selected additive combination which creates surfaceactive layers which lead to low friction coefficients and which avoid stick-slip phenomena (e.g. in hydraulic elevators, hydraulic cylinders, valves, etc.). A relatively easy and simple addition of 2% of the concentrate to a conventional hydraulic fluid (based on mineral oil or polyalphaolefin) reduces the danger of chattering, stick-slip. RENOLIN Anti-Stick-Slip is miscible and compatible with conventional hydraulic fluids based on mineral oils, hydro-treated oils or polyalphaolefins.
Application
RENOLIN Anti-Stick-Slip can be added in a concentration of 2% to conventional hydraulic fluids (it is recommended to make a pre-solution of the additive with the oil). RENOLIN Anti-Stick-Slip has been used successfully in hydraulic systems of elevators, forklifts, agricultural machinery, platform lifts, hydraulic vibration dampers, etc.
