Fully synthetic EP-grease usable within a wide temperature range
Description
RENOLIT LX-ERP 2 is a fully synthetic EP-grease usable within a wide temperature range. It is based on a special synthetic oil and a lithium complex soap. Due to this specific thickener and its additive package it provides excellent low friction properties and a high shear stability. RENOLIT LX-ERP 2 contains specially selected EPagents to improve lubrication under severe conditions and to improve its characteristics at low speeds, oscillating movements under shock loads. The special base oil in combination with its AWadditives ensures a reliable wear protection at very low frictional torques especially under mixed friction conditions. RENOLIT LX-ERP 2 provides extremely good corrosion protection properties also under severe environmental conditions such as aggressive atmosphere and salt water. Thus, it is suitable for the life-time lubrication of thermally high loaded ball joints. RENOLIT LX-ERP 2 is compatible with elastomers and plastic material (PU, NBR, ACM, CR, PA, POM).
Application
RENOLIT LX-ERP 2 is especially designed for ball joints in the chassis area of passenger cars. It guarantees very low frictional torques, thus providing extremely high comfort behaviour.

Shelf Life
The minimum shelf life is 36 months if the product is properly stored between 0°C and 40°C in its unopened original container in a dry place. The indication of a minimum shelf life does not include any guarantee of durability.
