LUBSEC HP 550
Chlorine free extreme pressure vanishing lubricant
Description
LUBSEC HP 550 is a liquid lubricant, made of paraffinic and isoparaffinic hydrocarbons blended with synthetic lubricant, reinforced with extreme pressure, lubricity, and wetting agents.
LUBSEC HP 550 is formulated for machining or forming of steels, SS Steels, and aluminium alloys.
Application
LUBSEC HP 550 is generally adapted to replace low viscosity neat oils. Its anti-wear and anti-seize properties allow it to lubricate severe operations where high pressure, high friction and sliding occur, such as:
- die-blanking
- drawing
- tapping-forming
LUBSEC HP 550 can be applied either by roller lubricator, drip-feed system, etc. For a practical and economical use, we recommend our low pressure spraying material, our micro lubrication kit, or our rollers systems LUBOMAT.
Advantages/Benefits
- Free from halogen (Cl, I, Br) and silicones
- Good sliding characteristics and high EP and anti-wear properties
- Thin residual film, does not require cleaning prior to storage
- Suitable for alkaline cleaner or solvent degreasing
Industries
- Forging
- Metal processing
- Consumer, aftermarket
