The Quanzhou Stop of 2019 FUCHS “Fuels Your Way” Service Skills Competition Ended Successfully
During August 12th and 13th, 2019 FUCHS "Fuels Your Way" Automobile Service Skills Competition was held in Quanzhou. Since registration started, the Quanzhou stop has won strong response from local automobile repair industry and active participation of local automobile repair technicians. 32 contestants from 16 groups that have passed the preliminary test gathered here to show their automobile service skills. Under the witness of a number of spectators, guests and major media including 899 News of Quanzhou TV, Quanzhou News, Toutiao, NetEase, Southeast China Post, and Auto Fortune (auto-biz.cn), the Quanzhou stop of 2019 FUCHS “Fuels Your Way” Competition was officially launched.
Ms. Gao Xuemei, Sales Vice President of AUT Retail at FUCHS China, said at the opening ceremony, “We have held two FUCHS ‘Fuels Your Way’ Competitions. Remaining true to our mission, we are committed to improving skills of independent aftermarket practitioners to make contribution to China’s automobile talents pool and cultivation as well as industry standardization”. I also wish that contestants in Quanzhou could play well to win qualifications for the National Finals.
The contestants spared no effort to do their best in this fierce competition. At the theoretical knowledge test, the contestants stayed calm and tried to give maximum correct answers in minimum time. In 30 different competition items of tests and practical skills such as oil changing, the contestants made joint efforts and operated in high speed. The interaction between guests and contestants and raffle pushed the atmosphere to the extreme.
Meanwhile, the salon speech on the automotive after sales market was held. The lecturer Mr.Tan Dahui, chief editor/founder of autoia.com.cn and mentor of entrepreneurs at the School of Automotive Studies, Tongji University, was invited to analyze how traditional repair companies do dual marketing. Mr. Ye Qun, AUT Retail Sales Product Manager at FUCHS China shared his knowledge on FUCHS products. There were also heated discussions on daily problems and opinions among local distributors on site.
