Anti-corrosion plastic film for iron, steel and non-ferrous metals
Description
ANTICORIT VCI F P is a PE plastic film which contains a combination of Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors for the protection of iron, steel, copper, aluminium, and other metals. ANTICORIT VCI F P protects metals through direct contact and at distance by anti-corrosive atmosphere it creates. The ANTICORIT VCI F P products are mono-layer films, evaporating corrosion inhibitors from both sides of the film. They are available as a foil in thicknesses between 40 and 250 μm. We offer different types such as rolls, gusseted bags, sheets, tubes, flat bags, etc. Stretch- and shrink films are available too. ANTICORIT VCI F P are used for packing spare parts, electrical or electronic components, coils, pipes, finished equipment, and others.
Application
The surface to be protected must be dry and clean. ANTICORIT VCI F P film is heat-sealable and can be applied with all types of manual or automated standard packaging equipment for wrapping or stretching. 8 - 10 m² ANTICORIT VCI F P films are needed for the sufficient protection for one m³. The protection period heavily depends on the tightness of the packaging. It therefore is important that the package is sealed well. However it is not necessary to seal the package air-tight. The maximal distance between the ANTICORIT VCI F P film and the metal surface should not exceed 30 cm.
