Description
CEPLATTYN 24 LR is a black, homogeneous, water-based lubricant concentrate. It contains a carefully determined package of solid lubricants for optimising its lubricating and wear protection properties for high temperature applications.
Field of application
CEPLATTYN 24 LR has been designed for the internal lubrication riding rings in rotary and drying kilns in order to maintain the relative movement of the ball races when no flammable lubricant should be used. Furthermore CEPLATTYN 24 LR is also ideally suited for the lubrication of chains in annealing and curing furnaces exposed to temperatures exceeding 250 °C.
Once the carrier liquid has evaporated the solid lubricants ensures dry lubrication.
Method of application
Application is either done manually or by using special spraying equipment. The lubrication intervals depend on the operating conditions at the time.
CEPLATTYN 24 LR may be diluted with water at any ratio. The optimum concentration must be determined by tests. A typical mixture ratio is 1 part of CEPLATTYN 24 LR and 3 parts of water.
Note
Do not apply on the outer surface of the riding ring or support roller.
