GLEITMO HMP 8040
Antifriction film for coating massproduced items
Performance Features
- Operating temperature range of the dry film: -40 / +110 °C
- Produces dry, colourless, non-slipping and non-abrasive lubrication film
- Permits easy application by means of dipping
- Guarantees constant coefficients of friction with the minimum of spread, thereby achieving calculable and reproducible installation results
- Adheres very strongly to all material surfaces
- Can be thinned with water if required
- Contains UV-additive for coating control under UV-light (340-380 nm)
Description
GLEITMO HMP 8040 is a suspension of high molecular polymers in water.
The antifriction film, which is left after it has been applied, adheres very well to the widest variety of surfaces and forms a satiny and non-slip film, which does not affect the properties of the coated material.
Field of application
GLEITMO HMP 8040 was developed specially for coating mass-produced thread-grooving and self-tapping screws.
Method of application
GLEITMO HMP 8040 can be thinned with water (drinking quality) in accordance with the lubrication engineering requirements in question.
Note
Protect from frost!
May be stored in sealed containers at room temperature for up to 12 months.
