Description
LUBRODAL C 38 N is a water miscible die lubricant with good lubricating, releasing and propulsive properties for warm forging processes of steel. It contains organic combinations completely dissolved in water but is free of pigments. After application a dry and adhesive releasing film of high lubricity will form on the engraved surfaces.
Field of application
LUBRODAL C 38 N is used for warm forging processes of steel, in particular if graphite containing lubricants can be replaced for hygienic reasons.
Method of application
LUBRODAL C 38 N is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before application. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems.
A strong spray jet with adjustable throughputs of the nozzles as well as an adjustable air-fluid ratio are required.
Note
Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL C 38 N in water:
Difficult transformations : 1 : 5 – 7
Transformations of average difficulty : 1 : 10 – 20
Simple transformations : 1 : > 20
The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in practice.
