Description
LUBRODAL F 18/24 W - AF contains finely ground graphite in a water-based emulsion which contains oil.
LUBRODAL F 18/24 W - AF is a homogenous, low-sediment, concentrated lubricant which can be diluted with tap water.
Field of application
LUBRODAL F 18/24 W - AF is particularly suitable for highly-complex forging operations involving mid-range and high temperatures, e.g. for lubricating dies during warm and hot forming operations.
In addition to its lubricating and release properties, LUBRODAL F 18/24 W - AF also acts as a tool coolant. This is due to its water content.
Its excellent wetting properties means that it can create an effective lubrication film, even deepest cavities.
LUBRODAL F 18/24 W - AF is an effective and economical alternative to the traditional graphite and oil suspensions used in semi-hot forging procedures.
Method of application
LUBRODAL F 18/24 W - AF is a die lubricant which must be thinned with water before use.
The optimum rate of dilution has to be determined in practice.
Depending on the metalworking process the dilution ratio usually is 1:1 up to 1:5.
