LUBRODAL F 327
Transparent, water miscible die lubricant
Performance Features
- forms a white adhesive layer on the die surface
- forged parts are easily released due to excellent separation properties
- avoids underfilling and optmises the surface quality of the parts
- reuces the scrap rate
Description
LUBRODAL F 327 is a water-miscible graphite free die lubricant with excellent separation effects for hot and warm forging of steel. It is used for forging operations in which graphite is to be substituted due to hygienic reasons. LUBRODAL F 327 quickly forms a well visible and touch-resistant lubrication film after spraying to the hot tool surfaces.
Method of Application
LUBRODAL F 327 is supplied as a concentrate and must be diluted with water in any desired ration prior to use. After diluting, a further stirring of the working mixture is not necessary. LUBRODAL F 327 can be applied by manual or automatic spraying equipment. It is also suitable for flood applcation and circulation lubrication.
Note
Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL F 327 with water are, as follows:
Difficult forming operations: 1:1 to 1:3
Medium difficulty: 1:3 to 1:10
Simple forgings: 1:10 to 1:40
The optimum dilution ratio has to be determined by operational tests.
