Description
LUBRODAL F 37 is a graphite containing, mineral oil free emulsion that has been developed especially for isothermal forging of complex aluminium parts. Its excellent lubrication performance provides optimal material flow and improved die life. LUBRODAL F 37 is delivered as a concentrate and can be diluted with water, if needed.
Application
LUBRODAL F 37 is applied by spraying. A fine mist spray is mandatory to achieve a homogenous coverage of the hot tool surface. Depending on the difficulty of the forming process and the desired cooling effect LUBRODAL F 37 can either be used pure or diluted with water in any needed ratio. The optimum dilution ratio has to be determined in practise.
Remarks
For dilutions of LUBRODAL F 37 it is advisable to keep it in motion at all times. By continuous motion a possible sedimentation of the contained solids is prevented. This can be achieved by usage of suitable stirring devices or by a circulation pump. The spraying system including the filter, valves, pipes and nozzles should be rinsed with water in regular intervals or prior to longer downtime.
