LUBRODAL F 70 B
Graphite containing parting agent for pipe manufacturing
Performance Features
- water miscible
- good wetting properties even at high temperatures
- spontaneous layer formation
- highly adhesive graphite film with excellent thermal stability
- economical to use due to high solid content
Description
LUBRODAL F 70 B is a graphite dispersion with good releasing and lubrication properties for hot forming of steel. It is based on a elaborated selection of different graphites and forms a well adhesive dry lubrication film on hot surfaces. Due to special additives LUBRODAL F 70 B is also suitable for high temperatures. The stable and flowable concentrate can easily be diluted with water in any ratio.
Field of application
LUBRODAL F 70 B is particularly suitable as parting agent for seemless tube manufacturing, e.g. for the coating of mandrel rods, for tube bendig or balling.
Method of application
LUBRODAL F 70 B is a concentrate and can be diluted with water before application with suitable spraying devices. Standard values for the dilution with water are: 1 : 0,5 - 3 for mandreal rod lubrication, 1 : 4 - 7 for drawing processes. The optimum dilution ratio has to be determined in practice.
