Description
LUBRODAL RV 20 is a water miscible release facing for coating of the faces of large steel billets. LUBRODAL RV 20 creates an adhesive and homogenous layer on the billets. This layer is a successful protection against sticking of the billets in the induction furnace (1200°C). LUBRODAL RV 20 contains special inorganic and mineral solid lubricants which avoid sticking of the billets in the induction furnace during heating.
Field of application
LUBRODAL RV 20 is used as a release facing to avoid sticking of large steel billets during heating.
Method of application
LUBRODAL RV 20 is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before use. Recommended dilution ratio is 1:1.
LUBRODAL RV 20 is applied by brushing o rolling on the cold faces of the billets. Before furnace workings, the water should have evaporated completely and a dry, homogenous film should have been formed.
Note
For the billet coating we recommend a dilution ratio of one part of LUBRODAL RV 20 and one part of water. The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in practice.
