PBC 1574 SPRAY
Sprayable high-temperature paste
Performance Features
- temperature range: -20 / +150 °C, dry lubricating film: up to +1,200 °C
- prevents the ingress of water
- prevents seizure
- facilitates the loosening of high-temperature threaded connections
Description
PBC 1574 SPRAY is a gold-coloured solid-lubricant paste spray formed by a combination high-molecular polymers and soft non-ferrous metallic powders. According to its formulation it is free of silicone or lead.
PBC 1574 SPRAY is suitable as a non-melt extreme-pressure lubricant for use between slow moving surfaces in an extensive temperature range.
Field of application
For reduction of friction coefficients of high-temperature screw connections and as anti-seize agent for pre-stressed bolts, studs and threaded components.
PBC 1574 SPRAY is used as anti-fretting medium where relative movement between plain bearing surfaces is of a low magnitude and in roller bearings subjected to vibration and small oscillating movements.
Method of application
Spray PBS SPRAY carefully and uniformly onto the cleaned surface.
Do not spray onto hot surfaces.
The lubricant is also available as consistent paste.
