Description
RENOCAST MP 3480 is a release and protection agent based on vegetable and ester oils for construction machinery and equipment. The product is also used as concrete release agent.
Field of application
RENOCAST MP 3480 prevents mortar and concrete from caking on construction machinery, mixer lorries, concrete pumps, mixers, silos, steel and large-area formwork as well as metal parts of all kinds.
Method of application
Clean machinery and equipment with water. Then apply RENOCAST MP 3480 with suitable spraying system (with Unijet nozzle TPU 800067-SS) to the parts to be treated. The spray pressure should be maintained above 5 bar. This causes a thin protective film to form on the parts which prevents concrete from caking, thus making the day’s work easier. As a protecting preparation it should be applied before the first and after every successive operation. Consumption: approx. 15-35 m2/ l. RENOCAST MP 3480 may not be diluted with water, oils, or solvents – the delivered concentration is ready for use! Since RENOCAST MP 3480 is based on vegetable and ester oil, it can be processed not below 0 °C.
Notes
- recommended application temperature >0°C
- the storage period should not exceed 2 years
- store barrels on their sides
- reseal packaging after removal
- preliminary trials required
The product shall only be applied to vehicle areas afterwards in contact with concrete, otherwise there is the danger of contamination.
Note the WHG and EC safety data sheet! The product may not come in contact with zinc or galvanised materials.
Store cleaning rags wetted with BETONEX ECO in a closed and approved container.
