ANTICORIT VCI TWS

Anti-corrosion twin-wall sheets for iron, steel and non-ferrous metals

Description

ANTICORIT VCI TWS is a twin-wall sheet made of polypropylene. With a combination of VCI inhibitors, it reliably protects iron, steel, copper and other metals against corrosion. ANTICORIT VCI TWS twin-wall sheets are lightweight, extremely mechanically stable and abrasion-resistant. The VCI inhibitors contained in the plastic change into the vapor phase in the packaging and thus also reach hard-to-reach areas such as drill holes and folds. High-quality parts, spare parts, electrical and electronic components and laboratory equipment are protected, as are machines of all kinds. ANTICORIT VCI TWS can be supplied in various dimensions and as die-cut parts for use as compartments for securing parts in packaging.

Application

ANTICORIT VCI TWS is placed in the outer packaging together with the parts to be protected, for example as an intermediate layer or lining. The parts to be protected must be clean and free of fingerprints and other residues. The duration of protection depends on the tightness of the outer packaging, so keep it as tightly sealed as possible. However, an airtight seal is not necessary. The following guidelines should be observed for the formation of the protective atmosphere: The VCI atmosphere has built up after approx. 12 hours at room temperature. The build-up phase of the modified atmosphere can be significantly shortened by keeping the packaged goods at a short distance from the twin-wall sheet.
