LUBRODAL F 29/2 - TB

Die lubricant, containing graphite

Performance Features

  • forms a dry, adhesive lubricating film
  • reduces friction and wear
  • improves the quality of the surface
  • fills dies effectively
  • outstanding lubricating and releasing properties
  • guarantees optimal flow of metal
  • lowers the percentage of rejects

Description

LUBRODAL F 29/2 - TB is a sprayable die lubricant with good releasing and lubricating properties. The great percentage of smallest graphite particles ensures optimal wettability of hot tool surfaces as well as a good stability and simple dilution with water. The larger particles enhance the temperature stability of the lubricating film.

Field of application

LUBRODAL F 29/2 - TB has been designed for difficult forging processes with high strain rates.

Method of application

LUBRODAL F 29/2 - TB is a concentrate and must be diluted with water prior to use. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems or spray pistols. A strong spray jet with adjustable throughputs of the nozzles as well as an adjustable air-fluid ratio is required. The mixture is to be stirred continuously in order to avoid settling out of graphite.

Note

We recommend the spray system to be cleaned with water once a week as well as prior to longer periods of cessation.

Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL F 29/2 - TB with water:
Difficult transformations:1 : 3 - 8
Transformations of average difficult1 y : 5 -10
Simple transformation s:1 : 10 - 20

The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in practice.
