Description
ZONAL 1002 is a highly stable dispersion of extremely fine graphite particles in solvent-refined mineral oil. When added to mineral oils it increases their load carrying capacity and reduces wear in boundary lubrication conditions. Undiluted ZONAL 1002 can also be used in extreme condi-tions.
Field of application
ZONAL 1002 is suitable for conveyor chains, annealing and enamelling ovens, kiln car bearings and rotary kiln tyres in cement and lime production. It is also used as assembly lubricant for pistons, crankshaft bearings, camshafts and valve stems and guides. Furthermore tools and dies in steel forging, pressing and stamping applications can be lubricated with ZONAL 1002. It is also suitable for extrusion, pressure and gravity die-casting tools and dies, and applications in the glass industry.
Method of application
Due to the presence of fine-particle graphite ZONAL 1002 is easily dispersed with minimal agitation/stirring and will still remain stable. After the dilution always add product to the base oil.
