RENOCLEAN GSO 3001
Cleaner for parts carriers and transport boxes
Description
RENOCLEAN GSO 3001 is developed for the cleaning of transport containers of all kinds, but especially of plastics, for removing oil, dust, grease and dirt. RENOCLEAN GSO 3001 is designed for use in spray cleaning equipment and therefore has no tendency to foam at an application temperature above 40 °C. RENOCLEAN GSO 3001 can also be used in immersion systems with ultrasound and manual precleaning. RENOCLEAN GSO 3001 dries quickly and leaves, when properly applied and dried, no visible residue. The use of demineralized water to avoid visible residues of constituents of the used water (calcium, magnesium, etc.) is recommended. RENOCLEAN GSO 3001 demulsifies entered oils in a connected oil separation system such as coalescence separator, skimmer etc.
Application
Application type: spray, immersion, manual
Typical Range Make-up: 2 % (1 – 10 %)
Temperature: *) 50°C (20 – 80°C)
Exposition time: 1 min (0,5 – 10 min)
Spray pressure: 2 bar (1.5 – 5.0 bar) *)
For plastics, the maximum temperature of the plastic must be observed..

This product is intended for commercial use only!
Concentration determination
The concentration of the cleaner may be determined by following methods:
- Conductivity
- Titration
- bubble pressure method
A test method for the exact determination of the concentration about the alkalinity (FLV-K-21) is available on request. Otherwise, the analysis conditions of the respective equipment manufacturer must be observed (eg bubble pressure).
Note: All determination methods are valid in strict form only for fresh solution. In used solution restrictions must be made in accuracy depending on the impurity and dirt contamination.
Sampling
At a homogeneously mixed position take a sample of the solution and allow cooling down to room temperature. For existing sample turbidity, let turbidity settle down and decant or filter the solution sample.
Titration procedure (easy)
The determination of the alkalinity can usually determine the proportion of cleaner in the cleaning solution as follows:
Exactly 200 ml of cleaning solution to be tested are titrated against methyl orange as an indicator with hydrochloric acid (0.1 M or 0.5 M).
Color changes from orange to red.
The concentration is calculated using the following formula:
Consumption (V) in ml * Factor (F) = (K) Vol% RENOCLEAN GSO 3001
For 0.1 M hydrochloric acid F = 1.0
For 0.5 M hydrochloric acid F = 5.0
V = required amount of acid in ml
K = concentration in %
