ANTICORIT OS 7100
Water Soluble Indoor Corrosion Preventive
Description
ANTICORIT OS 7100 is a barium free water-soluble corrosion inhibitor intended to provide 6 months or more indoor protection for ferrous and non-ferrous parts depending on application and storage condition. It can be applied directly to cleaned parts in an immersion tank or it can be mixed in the final stage of a spray. Since ANTICORIT OS 7100 is intended for dilution with water, it is very economical to use. Drying is recommended after application to set the film and provide the longest protection. Parts which are packaged wet may be susceptible to rust. ANTICORIT OS 7100 can replace solvent diluted products in situations where flash and/or fire hazards are major issues. ANTICORIT OS 7100 forms a thin, oily, non-sticky and non-resinating film after drying. Residual films are readily cleaned with mild alkaline cleaners.
How to Use
ANTICORIT OS 7100 is mixed with water for use. Mix ratio range is typically between 5% to 25%. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation. When mixing, always add ANTICORIT OS 7100 concentrate to water. Solutions can be applied by spray, immersion or brush/swab. The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 7ºC (45ºF) and 32ºC (90ºF). Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information.
