RENOCLEAN SGC 62

Central System and Individual Sump Cleaner

Description

RENOCLEAN SGC 62 is a mild alkaline cleaner intended for clean out of machine tool coolant central systems and individual machine sumps. It provides excellent detergency to break loose fines, soap scum and other solid debris. RENOCLEAN SGC 62 is formulated with an effective pH booster and stabilizer to reduce or eliminate odour and to maintain fluid integrity for the subsequent coolant charge.

RENOCLEAN SGC 62 provides interim corrosion protection for machinery and system components.

How to Use

For in-process cleaning, RENOCLEAN SGC 62 may be added to the machines while the operators continue to work. It should be added to the dirty coolant at a concentration of 1 - 2% by volume and circulated for a period of 12 to 24 hours, following which the system should be dumped in the normal manner.

For shut down cleaning, after draining the dirty coolant and refilling the machine or system with water, RENOCLEAN SGC 62 may be added at a concentration of 1 - 3% by volume and recirculated for a period of 12 – 24 hours and then dumped.

Rinsing may be required after use of either method, and all chips, sludge and contaminants must be removed before recharging with fresh coolant.

Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation. When mixing, always add RENOCLEAN SGC 62 concentrate to water.

The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 7°C and 32°C.

Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information.
