AIRLUBE 10 NM
Air Line Lubricant
Description
AIRLUBE 10 NM is a non-misting light oil treated with inhibitors for maximum protection against oxidation, rust and corrosion. Unlike many other commonly used air line lubricants, AIRLUBE10 NM does not contain chlorine/sulphur base EP packages which in combination with water can lead to corrosion of air lines and metal components of pneumatic equipment.
FUCHS AIRLUBE 10 NM provides continuous lubrication under all conditions, even when excessive moisture is present, because, unlike conventional hydraulic oils often used for lubricating air lines, Fuchs AIRLUBE 10 NM contains a unique invert-emulsion package, allowing the oil to pick up water while still maintaining full lubrication of all moving parts. Under similar conditions, conventional hydraulic oils will rapidly demulsify leaving water on valves and in low spots in the air line which may lead to conventional corrosion or valve malfunctioning, while conventional emulsifying type oils rapidly lose their lubrication properties as they become saturated with water.
How to Use
AIRLUBE 10 NM is used as received for all air operated equipment and air line lubricators to ensure adequate lubrication and rust protection of such parts as cylinders, pistons, control valves, clutches and automatic chokes. AIRLUBE 10 NM will not harm plastic or metal lubrication bowls.
Advantages
- Excellent compatibility with all commonly used elastomer for extended seal life
- Stable even at elevated temperatures and will not turn rancid in use or storage
- Suitable in extremely cold climates to -45°C, eliminating the necessity of dilution with dangerous or corrosive solvents
- Good oxidation stability for prolong fluid life
- Excellent corrosion protection
- Maintains lubrication even with excessive moisture contamination
Storage and Safety
The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 7°C (45°F) – 32°C (90°F).
Safety data sheets (SDS) are available. Before handling, read the product information and SDS for proper handling and health hazard information.
