ROCK DRILL OIL 100

Rock Drill Oil for Pneumatic Tool Lubrication

Description

ROCK DRILL OIL 100 is a rock drill oil that performs effectively under cold, wet, dusty, or hot atmospheres in all types of pneumatic tools. ROCK DRILL OIL 100 maintains maximum drill speeds under all such conditions so that the tool can work efficiently for long periods without excess wear, oil blow-by, or corrosion.

ROCK DRILL OIL 100 wets out rapidly, has a tough adhesive film, and will not gum, fog, or freeze at the exhaust in muffled drills. ROCK DRILL OIL 100 can provide these benefits at lower consumption rates than competitive drill oils. This is important where excess oil in the air creates a health hazard.

ROCK DRILL OIL 100 has exceptional film strength and high oiliness value. These features increase the cohesive as well as the adhesive properties of the oil which protects the metallic surfaces from being washed clean of lubricant by excessive amounts of moisture. It has the ability to protect expensive, hard-to-repair tools located in outlying regions where maintenance is costly and time consuming.

How to Use

Ideal for any type of oiler, ROCK DRILL OIL 100 will wet out sufficiently to adhere to all surfaces within the machine providing protection against the corrosive effects of moisture, fumes, and other impurities. ROCK DRILL OIL 100 provides for a very minimum fluid friction and has a sealing ability to prevent air loss past the piston.

Advantages

  • Flash point of 258°C to eliminate the possibility of “dieseling”
  • Formulated with an extremely effective anti-wear additive package to further reduce parts wear and replacement costs
  • Contains an additive to further reduce consumption by enhancing the ability of the product to resist emulsification and resulting “wash-out”; this means less oil in underground air systems

Industries

  • Machinery, equipment
