MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C Base
Pre-Emulsified Medium Duty Body-In-White Drawing Compound
Description
MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C BASE is a pre-emulsified automotive type body-in-white drawing compound. It is especially effective for use with older dies to form medium severity parts such as support brackets and inner and outer body panels. For less severe draws the product can be further diluted with water.
MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C BASE is safe to use on all coated and uncoated steel and aluminum C Base stock.
MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C BASE contains lubricity additives to provide fine finishes and extended tool life. Its residual film remains soft and non-oxidizing for easy cleaning, and it offers excellent in-process corrosion protection to safeguard parts and tools. The product is inhibited against biological attack to prevent bad odors from standing spills.
How to Use
MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C BASE is used as received. For less severe operations, it can be diluted with up to five parts of water. To mix, add product slowly to water with agitation. MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C BASE or its dilutions can be applied by spray, drip, roll coater or brush.
How to Clean
MONTGOMERY DB-4265 C BASE films and light residues are readily cleaned from processed parts using mild alkaline cleaner solutions.
