Heavy Duty Water Emulsifiable Drawing and Stamping Lubricant

Description

RENOFORM 2117 C is a heavy duty emulsifiable drawing compound. It is intended for severe drawing, stamping and blanking operations on steel, stainless, aluminium and nickel alloys. It should not be used on copper, brass, or galvanized unless parts are cleaned immediately after forming. RENOFORM 2117 C is water mixable for economical use and ease of cleaning.

How to Use

RENOFORM 2117 C may be used neat or diluted with water as appropriate for the severity of operation. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation. When mixing, always add RENOFORM 2117 C concentrate to water. It may be applied neat by roller coater, drip or brush methods, and in flood or spray systems when diluted with water.  The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 7ºC (45ºF) and 32ºC (90ºF).

How to Clean

Residual films are readily cleaned from parts with RENOCLEAN alkaline cleaners or solvents. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation.
