STATEMENT: About FUCHS Nye® Anti-counterfeit Label

Nye® became part of FUCHS Group in 2020. As a premium specialty lubricant brand owned by FUCHS, Nye® remains a popular choice for leading companies in automotive, semiconductor, electronics, medical and aerospace segments with a strong market reputation.
Recently, it has come to our knowledge that some customers have purchased counterfeit Nye® products, causing not only significant losses to the customers concerned but also an extremely negative impact on FUCHS product credibility and market image.
As a result, we have decided that all Nye® products manufactured and sold in China on or after June 1, 2023 will have an anti-counterfeit label attached to them so that customers can check the authenticity of the products.
The FUCHS Nye® anti-counterfeit label consists of an inner layer and an outer layer. The outer purple label carries the product logistics code, which is to be scanned by the logistics and distributors to trace the manufacturing information of the product. You can access “FUCHS LUBRICANTS” WeChat official account – the “Good Oil” menu – “Anti-Counterfeiting Check” – “Nye® Products”, and enter the 16-digit number below the logistics code, or simply scan the logistics code. The inner black-and-white label we see after removing the outer label carries the product anti-counterfeit code, which can only be scanned by end customers (using the built-in “scan” function of WeChat). The product information and scan information will appear after the scan to help verify the authenticity of the product.
