FUCHS Invited to Attend Wind Power Post-market Development Forum

On Sept. 15-16, 2014, the Wind Power Post-market Development Forum hosted by the Chinese Wind Energy Equipment Association was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Investors, manufacturers, operation and maintenance enterprises in this line of business as well as experts in this field met together and discussed the development trends and direction of the wind energy post-market. In addition, heated technical discussions were launched on four topics: “Operation and Management of Wind Power Plants,” “Blade Maintenance and Repair,” “Gear Cases,” and “Lightning Damage Prevention for Wind Power.”

Regarding the Gear Case topic, Lin Huifeng, the product manager of FUCHS China’s Wind Power Business Unit, delivered his speech titled “Lubrication and Maintenance of Wind Generation Sets” in which he proposed the requirements (that is, balanced and outstanding) for lubricating oil products in line with operation features of the wind power gear box. In addition, he also shared monitoring and maintenance experience related to lubricating oil products used for wind generation sets with experts attending the forum.
