FUCHS China Inaugurates New Specialty Lubricant Plant
On July 16, the inauguration ceremony of FUCHS China’s New Specialty Plant was held in Wujiang, Suzhou, marking a substantial upgrade to FUCHS’ local manufacturing capacity in the field of specialty lubricants.
Government officials including Sun Daoxun, Secretary of Wujiang District Party Committee; Fang Yong, Member of the Standing Committee of Wujiang District Party Committee, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wujiang Economic & Technological Development Zone; Zhu Yungen, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wujiang Economic & Technological Development Zone attended the ceremony. Also present were Dr. Timo REISTER, Deputy Chairman of FUCHS Group’s Board; Dr. Mario GEHRLEIN, Member of the Management Board and Executive Vice President; Rouven ACQUAVIVA, Vice President Corporate Strategy & Innovation of the Group; as well as Dr. Jianqiang Qu, CEO of FUCHS China; Flora Fei, COO; Kris VAN GASSE, CTO; and Sylvia Wang, VP HR & Admin.

Dr. Jianqiang Qu, CEO of FUCHS China, stated in his address that China stands as one of the core global markets for the FUCHS Group. Fang Yong, Member of the Standing Committee of Wujiang District Party Committee, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wujiang Economic & Technological Development Zone, emphasized that since FUCHS settled in Wujiang in 2016, it has developed hand in hand with Wujiang Economic & Technological Development Zone and secured a leading position in the high-end specialty lubricant market. He expressed expectations that FUCHS will continue to take root in Wujiang and deliver remarkable industrial synergy that integrates "German precision" with "Chinese speed".
