FUCHS 2026 Supplier Conference Concludes Successfully
On 18 August, the FUCHS 2026 Supplier Conference was grandly held in Shanghai. Government officials from Nanxiang Town, Jiading District, representatives of the FUCHS Group and FUCHS China, together with supplier partners gathered at the event. Centered on the FUCHS100 “FOCUS TO WIN” strategy, participants discussed supply‑chain collaboration and mapped out new prospects for shared growth.
Jie SUN, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Nanxiang Town, Jiading District, delivered an address. He noted that since establishing its presence in Nanxiang in 1996, FUCHS has evolved into an industry benchmark for localised development among foreign‑invested enterprises. The Nanxiang local government holds high expectations for the future development of FUCHS’s supply‑chain ecosystem.
Dr. Mario GEHRLEIN, Member of the FUCHS Group Management Board and Executive VP, reviewed FUCHS’s global business footprint and analysed the complex external economic and geopolitical landscape. He affirmed that China serves as a core growth engine for FUCHS worldwide and called on supply‑chain partners to jointly deliver the FUCHS100 strategy.
Dr. Jianqiang QU, CEO of FUCHS China, assessed domestic macro‑development opportunities. He elaborated on FUCHS China’s five winning pillars: stronger products, enhanced cost competitiveness, strengthened brand, advanced digitalisation and expanded channels, and outlined six key business segments to anchor future growth directions.
Flora FEI, COO of FUCHS China, stated that future competition will take place between supply chains. She shared insights centred on resilience, comprehensive competitiveness and strategic partnerships, conveying the core philosophy: FUCHS succeeds only when its partners succeed.
Subsequently, Bruno CHAOAUT, Global VP of Procurement; Kris VAN GASSE, CTO of FUCHS China; Gary CURTY, Director of Procurement for FUCHS China and VP of Procurement for Asia‑Pacific; and Erik RICHTER, Global Human Rights Officer & Procurement Sustainability Manager of FUCHS, delivered keynote speeches respectively. Their topics covered building supply‑chain resilience and strategic partnerships, advancing from local excellence to global value creation, value‑engineering‑driven growth, building an innovative and resilient supply chain, as well as responsible procurement and human rights, offering diverse perspectives on long‑term collaborative supply‑chain development.
At this conference, FUCHS China presented nine prestigious awards across three categories: direct materials, packaging materials and indirect materials, to recognise outstanding supplier partners excelling in quality control, agile delivery, technological innovation, comprehensive supply assurance, carbon reduction and strategic collaboration. Through reliable delivery, joint technical innovation and green practices, these outstanding suppliers underpin FUCHS’s supply‑chain resilience and stand as the most solid allies for FUCHS’s high‑quality development.
