Description
LUBRODAL F 400 is a water miscible die lubricant, free of graphite and oil. It significantly improves the flow of the metal and the quality of the surface. Depending on the application a dry to liquid separating film of high lubricity will form on the transforming tools.
Field of application
LUBRODAL F 400 is used for warm forging of steel, special alloys and non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass etc.), in particular if graphite containing die lubricants cannot be used due to hygienic reasons.
Method of application
LUBRODAL F 400 is a concentrate and must, whilst stirring, be diluted with water before application. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems but it is also suitable for an application in terms of splash- and flood water. The mixture does not have to be stirred.

Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL F 400 with water:
Difficult transformations : 1 : 3 - 5
Average transformations : 1 : 5 - 10
Simple transformations : 1 : 10 - 25
The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in operational tests.
