Our new and ultra-modern lubricant plant
After a nearly five-year long planning, development and installation process and large investments, we’re finally operating our new plant in Västerhaninge, south of Stockholm. The facility is purpose built and includes processes for production, warehousing and logistics, as well as R&D, customer analysis and quality control.
We are incredibly proud of our new, modern production facility, which will produce lubricants for the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish markets. We have a long tradition of providing customised lubricant solutions for the Nordic market, and combined with delivering locally produced lubricants, we see this as an important service for our customers.

As we move to the new facility, we’re testing new and legacy equipment to ensure stable, efficient filling. Karin Lagerstedt is the technical manager, responsible for ensuring the filling lines work perfectly before start-up.
In Fors we have built a brand new lab, and we will of course be taking all the advanced, sensitive instruments we need for our analyses with us. A job that calls for careful planning and coordination to make sure everything runs smoothly, without the risk of downtime. Head of R&D Maria Eklund is responsible for making sure it all comes together.
Senior Manager Procurement & Planning Mikael Andersson is responsible for building stock ahead of the move from the current plant in Nynäshamn to the new one in Fors. It is vital that we have a solid plan in place, based on being able to fully understand and predict customers’ needs both during and after the move, to ensure product availability.
During May we are testing the new production plant’s ability to manufacture products of the same high quality as before. Maria Eklund, Senior Director R&D, talks about the vital process of test running and analysing production, so as to assure quality before going live.
