ANTICORIT MKR 7
Water-miscible Corrosion Preventive Concentrate
Description
ANTICORIT MKR 7 is a water-miscible corrosion protection concentrate which forms a finely dispersed, highly stable emulsion. ANTICORIT MKR 7 forms a thin, oily, non-sticky and non-resinating protective film on bare metal and phosphated surfaces. This film provides excellent corrosion protection in the condensate climate as well as in the salt spray test. ANTICORIT MKR 7 is used when high requirements for corrosion protection are necessary. It is also used if solvent based products could not be applicable.
Application
To prepare an emulsion of ANTICORIT MKR 7, a temperature between 35 and 60 °C is recommended. Preparation: Heat water to needed temperature, then admit concentrate. ANTICORIT MKR 7 should be used as emulsion (5 – 10 %) at temperatures of 20 – 70 °C. For dipping, but also for spraying. Depending on the concentration, different film thickness will result. Bath temperatures should not exceed 50 °C if the concentration is > 10 %. During the term the bath should be inspected in regular intervals.
Advantages
- Fast preparation of the emulsion
- Excellent corrosion protection, especially if high requirement for salt spray are necessary
- Regular bedew of the surface
- Outstanding cleaning properties
- Free of barium
- Free of secondary amines through TRGS 615 ***), Point 2 (5)
Industries
- Metal processing
- Steel, metals
